IntelliSystems

NetApp

Enterprise storage for systems that must never stop. High performance, continuous availability and advanced data protection for mid-sized and large companies.

What you can use NetApp for

We choose NetApp where performance, availability and long-term scalability are what matters.

Databases and ERP

Consistently low latency for SQL, Oracle, SAP and the other systems your business runs on.

Virtualization

Reliable storage for hundreds of virtual servers on VMware, Hyper-V or Proxmox.

Continuous operations

Synchronous mirroring between two sites. Losing an entire server room doesn't mean losing services.

Hybrid cloud

The same data and tools on-premises and in the cloud. Less-used data can move automatically to cheaper storage.

What you gain

No downtime

Dual controllers in every system and non-disruptive upgrades.

No data loss

Synchronous replication between sites for critical systems.

Less capacity needed

Deduplication and compression savings reduce the capacity you need.

Fast recovery

Snapshot recovery in seconds instead of hours.

Product lines

All systems run the same ONTAP operating system. They differ in performance, drive type and how data is accessed.

AFF A-Series

High-performance all-flash

End-to-end NVMe systems for the most demanding applications. Files and blocks in a single system, with major space savings from deduplication and compression.

Best for
Databases, ERP, large-scale virtualization, performance-critical applications.
  • NVMe
  • NFS · SMB · iSCSI · FC
  • Unified storage

AFF C-Series

Capacity all-flash

High-capacity flash storage at a lower cost per terabyte. SSD speed where spinning disks would otherwise do.

Best for
Virtualization, file services, backup with fast recovery, consolidation.
  • Capacity flash
  • Lower cost per TB

ASA

All-flash for block data (SAN)

Systems designed exclusively for block access, with simple management and symmetric active access through both controllers.

Best for
SAN environments, databases, virtualization on block storage.
  • iSCSI · FC · NVMe/TCP
  • Active-active

FAS

Hybrid storage

A combination of spinning disks and flash cache. Large capacity at an attractive price with all ONTAP features.

Best for
File services, archive, secondary storage and replication target.
  • HDD + flash
  • High capacity

Key technologies

The capabilities that make NetApp a standard in enterprise environments.

ONTAP
One operating system for all NetApp storage - on-premises and in the cloud. Files (NFS, SMB), blocks (iSCSI, FC, NVMe) and objects (S3) in a single system.
Snapshot and SnapRestore
Instant snapshots with no performance impact. Restoring an entire volume from a snapshot takes seconds, regardless of its size.
SnapMirror
Data replication to a second site or to the cloud - asynchronous and synchronous. The foundation for off-site backup and Disaster Recovery.
MetroCluster and SnapMirror active sync
Synchronous mirroring between two data centers with automatic switchover. Zero data loss if an entire site goes down.
SnapLock
Immutable WORM storage (Compliance and Enterprise modes). During the retention period, data cannot be modified or deleted - not even by an administrator.
Autonomous Ransomware Protection
Machine learning monitors writes to storage. When encryption is suspected, it automatically creates a protected snapshot and alerts the administrator.
Storage efficiency
Deduplication, compression and compaction save capacity. Thin provisioning and FlexClone create copies of data that take up no extra space.
FabricPool
Automatically tiers rarely used data from flash to object storage or the cloud. Performance where it's needed, low cost for the rest.
