Frequently asked questions
Is the cloud even worth it for us?
Not always. If you have a stable load and your own server that works, moving may not make sense. The cloud pays off when you need access from anywhere, fast scaling, reliable backups or don't want to deal with hardware. In the consultation we'll honestly tell you what's better for you.
How much does running in the cloud cost?
A smaller application on a VPS server costs tens of euros a month; larger solutions on AWS or Azure depend on performance and data volume. Before the migration you get an estimate of monthly costs, and we keep optimizing them during operation.
Will our data be safe?
We store data in data centers within the European Union, encrypt it and back it up regularly. Access is role-based, and we test restoring from backups on a regular basis.
Will there be downtime during the migration?
We plan migrations to keep downtime as short as possible, usually outside business hours. We first run and test everything in parallel and only then switch production over.
Won't we be locked in to a single provider?
We build solutions so they can be moved if needed. We use standard technologies and your entire infrastructure is documented, so you depend neither on the cloud provider nor on us.
Do you also supply NetApp storage?
Yes, we are a NetApp solutions provider. We design, supply and deploy NetApp storage at your premises and in the cloud (AWS, Azure), set up snapshots, replication and backups, and take care of its ongoing operation.
